TRANSFERRING STUDENTS
Transferring Policy
Transfer credit is awarded for comparable academic courses completed at an institution accredited as degree-granting by a regional or international accrediting body or at an institution accredited that has agreement with Al-Nasser University. Depending on the program and the articulation agreement the transferred credits towards specific program varies. Usually students coming from other institutions that has agreement with Al-Nasser University grant one academic year and therefore will be completing their second year at Al-Nasser University. For more info about this please contact the Admission Office. If the transferred student comes from an educational institution that has no agreement with Al-Nasser University, the admitted student will be required to provide the following documents:
- Official stamped and signed transcript of the completed courses
- Course syllabus or course outline
- Official Letter stamped and signed letter from their admission officer that verifies the student completed with them the courses that appears on the transcript
* Please note that in the end the final decision about the amount of the eligible transferred courses is only made by the admission officer; therefore, Al-Nasser University cannot guarantee how many courses will be transferred. For more detailed information about this please contact the Admission Department.
Completed studies outside Yemen
We welcome our Yemeni students who completed their studies outside Yemen. Yemeni students who are intended to study or complete their degrees in Yemen are encouraged to apply and provide their previous studies documents to the Admission Office.
Yemeni students who completed their high school outside Yemen must provide their high school transcript stamped and signed by the authority that issued the baccalaureate to the student.
Yemeni students who already completed some courses work at another university or college that has no articulation agreement with Al-Nasser University must recognize that the university Admission Office is the only one can identify if the completed credits can be transferred or not. Therefore, if the international applicant completed his/her work abroad, they need to present the following requirements:
- Official stamped and signed transcript of the completed courses
- Course syllabus or course outline
- Official Letter stamped and signed letter from their admission officer that verifies the student completed with them the courses that appears on the transcript
